"4c Design, a product design consultancy were given the brief to design and fabricate a bottling machine for the express purpose of bottling a worming vaccine under sterile conditions. The machine operates within a positive pressure isolation chamber and processes the bottles via an input/output carousel system.
Upon completion of the project, the machine was shipped out to the Moredun facility in Perth Australia. The Olympic Automation bowl feeders were instrumental for the design, allowing quick and easy orientation of the bottle stoppers and aluminium crimp retaining ring. The nature of the bowl feeder design allowed easy and efficient integration into the overall assembly.
"4c Design worked closely with Olympic Automation who was very easy to deal with and we felt confident our design specification was carefully considered".

Automotive Thermostat Assembly.
"Olympic Automation was asked to provide a vibratory bowl feed and linear track feed system to present a single thermostat to a datum pickup point within a robotic cell.
Incorporated within the pneumatically actuated positioning escapement mechanism at the end of the linear track, was an optical pin detection sensor to detect the presence of the actuating pin, if missing the robot was instructed to reject the thermostat body ensuring only 100% checked parts were loaded into the sub assembly."
