4c Design, a product design consultancy were given the brief to design and fabricate a bottling machine.

The machine is a bespoke design for the express purpose of bottling a worming vaccine under sterile conditions.

This involves the synchronisation of multiple procedures, which happen in unison.

The machine operates within a positive pressure isolation chamber and processes the bottles via an input/output carousel system.

Upon completion of the project, the machine will be shipped out to the Moredun facility in Perth Australia.

The Olympic Automation bowl feeders were instrumental for the design, allowing quick and easy orientation of the bottle stoppers and aluminium crimp retaining ring.

The nature of the bowl feeder design allowed easy and efficient integration into the overall assembly.

"4c Design worked closely with Olympic Automation who was very easy to deal with and we felt confident our design specification was carefully considered".
